Thank you for visiting my website New-Generation Counselling. My name is Shaffrina. I am a qualified therapist offering Adult and Youth counselling. My service includes face to face, phone, online and text counselling. I have tried to keep my costs low so that my service is affordable.

As a qualified Adult counsellor, I can offer long term sessions to suit your needs. As my approach is integrative, I can tailor my approach to include humanistic, CBT and psychodynamic approaches.  I can work in the 'here and now',  explore the past or use CBT techniques to support change.

As a qualified Child and Adolescent counsellor, I offer sessions that are reviewed 6 weekly with the opportunity to extend to more sessions if therapy is still needed. I tailor my approach to suit the needs of each young person to support change. Ages 12-18 years

Youth counselling

I have been working with young people for over 21 years. My experiences have meant that I have extensive knowledge of youth work in a variety of settings including schools, targeted support, community youth work, mental health crisis support youth work and LGBTQ+ support. I am passionate about young peoples well-being and supporting positive change. As a counsellor I can build positive, trusting relationships allowing young people to feel valued and heard.
